Screaming Bones is back! Just before the end of 2023, Screaming Bones self-releases a ton of new music with a triple feature.

The albums have been developed throughout the year and have now been released on all the major streaming services as well as Screaming Bones’ Bandcamp site https://screamingbones.bandcamp.com/music

Screaming Bones’ music exists to take your head onto a sonic journey into the unknown. The sound is unique and sometimes clashes with your worn-out and beloved listening patterns. But as you take your time and follow the sounds, these gems of wonderful music will unfold in your ears and in your mind, revealing their timeless beauty.

‚Tales From The Outer Rings‘ is the most experimental of the three releases. It starts off with the ambient ‚Broken Spaceship‘. Crash on a far-away planet and feel the alien sun burn up your skin. Your radio sends out warbled help signals but all you get back are responses in a language you never heard before.

‚Kryptonite‘ is the hymn of the album. Short, to the point and addictive to listen to. Repeat a few times before you show off your moves on the dancefloor to the broken guitar sound of ‚Disco on Dagobah‘.

‚Alien Transmission‘ sees you off into space again, but what is this? Your radio picks up signals you never heard anywhere else….or is it simply an alien radio station?

Hear the demons shrieking in ‚Song for my Inner Demons‘, only kept in their prisons by harsh guitar sounds.

‚Planet Dune‘ makes you wonder whether the sounds you are hearing are real or an illusion brought on by the merciless sun as you walk the surface of yet another unknown planet.

‚Through the Meteor Field‘ takes you an a wild sonic magic carpet ride. Enjoy the wall of sound building up before it lifts you off and hurls you away.

‚Trip Through Hyperspace‘ is nothing but an endless round trip in sound and distorted guitar noise. The moment you start to feel sick to your stomach and desperately want to get off the ride, you’re in for yet another round.

The demons come back for a reprise in the last track, feeling like old friends before they leave you alone in the ever-expanding darkness of space.

‚Screaming Bones‘ opens with ‚Here Come the Waves‘, gigantic waves of sound carry a fragile guitar all the way into your ears. ‚March of the Morons‘ stands for all the idiots following their arsehole leaders and their lies, shouting ‚Hooray!‘ while the world goes to hell.

Enjoy the jazzy vibe of ‚Neon Lights in the Rain‘ before ‚All Beauty is Pain‘ makes your hair stand up. ‚Ridin‘ High‘ sees you off in the morning and ‚Fuck Off!‘ injects some attitude in your ear before you get to experience the pure craziness of ‚Electric Noise‘…love it or hate it, there is no in-between.

‚When I was young‘ hangs around in long-gone memories, ‚A Story about Hopes and Dreams‘ is not really a song, it’s a story about lost chances and unfulfilled promises.

The album sees you off with an alternative, a bit noisier take on ‚Neon Lights in the Rain‘.

‚I think I’m OK‘ starts with ‚The Essence of Cool‘ and ‚Electric Feel‘, both crackling with electric guitar energy. ‚I think I’m OK‘ will be the companion for next spring while ‚Bar Life‘ makes you want to grab the sounds through a haze of cigarette smoke in a worn-down bar. ‚Chillin‘ on a Sunday Afternoon‘ is an interlude before you go on the epic ‚Road Trip‘ with its monotonous hammering bass. Listen on headphones to enjoy the full effects.

‚High and Low‘ sends you flying before the hard landing makes the guitar saw on your wretched nerves when the hangover has got you in its grip. Listen to me rambling along in ‚Mourning for a Dying World‘ and ‚Dreamwalking‘. Kick back and relax and get carried away by some lush psychedelic soundscapes and a vibrating double-bass.
